Ancestry and Identity

My Le Thi is an Australian/Vietnamese artist with a significant national and international reputation. She has worked with students in the Macleay Valley on a number of occasions.  With funding from a VADEA NSW Professional Learning Grant in 2014, My Le worked with Stage 6 (Year 11) students from Melville High School to explore issues of Ancestry and Identity as stimulus for both Artmaking and for Art Criticism and Art History. This became a case study foregrounding the contemporary practice of artists from an Asian Diaspora.
