Traversing multiple temporalities, Sydney-based artist Janet Laurence examines and
reveals evolving intersections between art, science, humanity and the natural world. Her
practice is ‘a response to and participation in ecologies of art and nature’, through
which she addresses dynamics of memory and matter, ephemerality and transience,
threatened life and environments, and physical, as well as cultural, restoration.
