Dr Kath Fries is an artist, curator, researcher, writer and mentor to emerging artists, working across a diversity of contexts including artist-run galleries, community spaces and artist in residence programs. Her home and studio are on the lands of the Gadigal and Wangal people of the Dharug Nation. Her research-led artmaking practice encompasses
sculpture, installation and drawing, and involves a process of co-creation where
materials, actions, time and place intersect and evolve reciprocally.
