Art Educators Exhibition – Alchemy: Transforming Visual Arts and Curriculum Pedagogy

We are excited to announce a special feature of the 2025 VADEA Conference: a physical and online exhibition showcasing artworks created by educators to guide students toward successful artmaking outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate and share your expertise, creativity, and pedagogical approaches with the art and design educator community.

We invite you to submit a photograph of an artwork you have produced for the purpose of modelling successful outcomes to your students. Submissions can include any artform, including painting, drawing, digital media, and more. The aim is to provide explicit guidance and inspiration for student artmaking across K-6 Creative Arts, 7-10 Visual Arts, and Stage 6 Visual Arts. All submissions are to be accompanied by a 200-word overview of the relevant unit of work

During the conference, these submissions will be displayed, offering attendees a rich resource for curriculum development and classroom practice. An online component will allow for participation from our valued Regional members.
