Online via Zoom VADEA invites you to participate in a 60-minute workshop designed to further explore and unpack the new 7–10 Visual Arts Syllabus.
Our Term 4, 2024, Curriculum Reform Workshop provided an overview of the 7–10 Syllabus structure and content, with a focus on adapting existing scope and sequences, as well as other key resources.
In this second workshop, we will delve deeper into effective strategies for curriculum adaptation, with a particular focus on the Contemporary Viewpoint and Stage 5 Bodies of Work.
Additionally, the workshop will outline future advocacy events for Creative Arts K-6, Visual Arts 7-10, and Visual Arts 11-12, supporting educators across all stages of Visual Arts education. There will also be a valuable update on the ongoing consultation process for 7-12 Visual Arts electives, allowing participants to voice their insights and contribute to the future direction of Visual Arts education.
