Competition Terms and Conditions

VADEA NSW Instagram Challenge
11th – 13th June 2016

By entering the competition you accept the following terms.

1. COMPETITION
   • VADEA NSW is the promoter and administrator of this competition.
   • Start Date: 12.00AM, 11th June 2016
   • End Date: 11.59PM, 13th June 2016
   • Judging will take place by the 17th of June, 2016 and Winners announced on Saturday, 18th of June 2016
   • Entries will be judged by a panel of three (3) VADEA NSW executive
   • Entries will be judged on:
     1. Artistic interpretation of the stimulus word/s as determined by our judges
   • Judges’ decision is final, correspondence on decision will not be entered into
   • Prizes are given by the competition sponsor and cannot be redeemed for cash
   • VADEA NSW will attempt to contact you via Instagram within one week of the winner/s being announced
2. HOW TO ENTER
   • Enter the competition by posting a photo to Instagram inspired by one of the stimulus words and using the hashtags: #VADEA_NSW, VADEA_Challenge, #Reflect or #Luminous or #Analogue
   • Privacy settings must be set to public
   • Stimulus words
     1. Saturday 11th June, 2016 : Reflect
     2. Sunday 12th June, 2016 : Luminous
     3. Monday 13th June, 2016 : Analogue
   • One (1) entry per person per day
3. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
   • Unless otherwise stated VADEA NSW Instagram Challenges are open to members of the Visual Arts and  Design Educators Association only
   • Not open to students or their work
   • Open to permanent Australian residents
   • VADEA NSW executive are encouraged to participate but are not eligible for the prizes.
4. PHOTOS
   • Only entries submitted via Instagram and tagged appropriately will be accepted.
   • All entries are to use and interpret one of the stimulus words as inspiration
   • All entries are to be original work
   • Required tags: #VADEA_NSW and the stimulus word of the day
   • Do not post images of students or their work
   • Do not repost other people’s instagrams
   • You can use Instagram filters or other photo processing
   • VADEA NSW reserves the right to validate the entrant and the photo’s originality
   • We may ask to use your entries on our website or in other promotions. In which case you will be contacted for permission.
5. INSTAGRAM and VADEA NSW
   • This competition is solely run by VADEA NSW and in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
   • VADEA NSW uses the Instagram service to administer our competition at our own risk
   • All entries must adhere to Instagram’s Terms Of Use (https://help.instagram.com/478745558852511) or the Terms and Conditions of VADEA NSW Instagram Challenge. Violation of either of these will lead to disqualification
6. PRIZES
   • S&S is providing a (1) $100 gift certificate.
