VADEA is offering one lucky student member the chance to attend our annual conference, Alchemy: Transforming Visual Arts Curriculum and Pedagogy, for free!
To be in the running for the ticket to the conference, simply become a VADEA student concession member by March 31st 2025 and submit a short response (100 words or less) to the question:
Why does Visual Arts Education matter?
The most compelling answer will be awarded free entry to the 2025 VADEA conference, with the successful applicant being notified by 3pm on Friday the 4th of April.
You must hold a valid student ID or enrolment record from your tertiary institution to become a student concession member of VADEA.

The annual VADEA Conference – Alchemy: Transforming Visual Arts Curriculum and Pedagogy will be held at the National Art School, Darlinghurst, on May 24 and 25, 2025.
Terms and Conditions:
If the successful entrant cannot attend the conference, they must notify VADEA within 7 days of being notified of their successful entry.
In this circumstance, the runner up entry will be notified and offered the opportunity to receive the free ticket.
The successful entrant’s name will also be published on the VADEA website.
Total value of the award is $595. The ticket is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
