VADEA invites you to participate in a 45-minute workshop designed to explore and unpack the new 7–10 Visual Arts Syllabus. This interactive session will provide valuable insights into adapting your current 7-10 Visual Arts resources to align with the updated syllabus content areas, ensuring a seamless transition for both educators and students.
During the workshop, we will engage in discussions on effective strategies for curriculum adaptation, emphasising how to integrate the new content areas into existing scope and sequences, programs, assessments, and resources. You’ll have the opportunity to walk away with several updated resources that VADEA will provide, offering fresh and innovative approaches to teaching and assessing Visual Arts in Years 7-10.
Additionally, the workshop will outline future events for Creative Arts K-6, Visual Arts 7-10, and Visual Arts 11-12, supporting educators across all stages of Visual Arts education. There will also be a valuable discussion on the ongoing consultation process for 7-12 Visual Arts electives, allowing participants to voice their insights and contribute to the future direction of Visual Arts education.
Whether you’re looking to update your teaching resources, explore new syllabus requirements, or network with colleagues, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to stay ahead in Visual Arts education.
