This program is designed to complement the study of Emine
nt women, which Year 6 will be undertaking in their English classes. They will be investigating an eminent woman from the past, considering the qualities of strength and perseverance that enabled this person to reach eminence often in the face of many obstacles.
In Visual Arts, the students will create a mixed media portrait of their eminent woman which will inform the viewer about their person’s identity and area of eminence as much as their appearance.
