In 2024, VADEA initiated an IB network for educators teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) in Visual Arts. Our first meeting was face-to-face at Trinity Grammar School in Term 2 with a lively and enthusiastic gathering where we discussed the purpose and structure for the network's operation.

A Facebook page and a shared space for resource collaboration were developed. Our second Zoom meeting was fantastic with invited members outlining their approach to the Exhibition (Kate Watson – Monte Sant Angelo Mercy College) and the Process Portfolio (Katherine Young - Cranbrook) – big thanks to them for their generous time and expertise in developing these presentations and initiating discussion.

Our meeting at Ravenswood was postponed till 2025 when we hope to explore the new curriculum being developed.
